Hi there, my name is…
Samantha Straub
Intern • she/her
I provide sessions for…
☑ Children
☑ Adults
☑ Youth
I approach therapy as a collaborative journey, offering a compassionate and welcoming space where you can show up as your authentic self. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, reflect on your experiences, and create meaningful change through shared goals and coping strategies that align with your healing.
With a background as an artist and art educator in clinical settings, I bring a creative, client-centered perspective to therapy. I use tools like storytelling, art, movement, play, and mindfulness to support self-discovery and expression.
I work with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, OCD, and other mood-related challenges—offering support, belonging, and empowerment every step of the way.
When I’m not in my office, you can find me…
I enjoy traveling and exploring new cafés, restaurants, and markets with friends and family. I also spend time on my art practice, including painting and making pottery. I enjoy staying active with seasonal sports and spending time outdoors in the river valley to unwind and connect with nature.
My words to live by are…
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and embracing who we are.”
- Brené Brown
