What are your fees?
Generally, we charge $240 per session for individual sessions which are 50 minutes long (with 10 minutes left for note taking). Lower fees are charged for CCC and Interns.

Do you direct bill?
Yes! We do! We direct bill to all major insurance companies.

Is there free parking?
YES! There is lots of free parking on the side streets near Strathearn Psychology. There are also a few spots at the back of our building.

How long are your sessions?
Individual sessions are 50 minutes long with 10 minutes left for note-taking.
Couples and Family sessions are often scheduled for 90 minutes to allow for more time when more people are present in session.
EMDR treatment sessions are scheduled for 2 hours.

What should I expect in my first session?
You will be greeted in the waiting room and brought to a private office with a comfy couch and chair. We know therapy is not always comfortable, but we hope our furniture is!
Your first session will begin with a review of the informed consent documentation. You will also be invited to share what brought you to Strathearn Psychology.
Don’t feel you need to come prepared with what to discuss; we can help you with that!

What is the Gottman Method Couples Therapy?
The Gottman Method is an approach to couples therapy that thoroughly assesses the couple's relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory.
Couples who enter into Gottman Method Couples Therapy begin with an assessment process that then informs the therapeutic framework and intervention.
Interventions are designed to help couples strengthen their relationships in three primary areas: friendship, conflict management, and creating shared meaning.
